Right now people all over the world are busy making plans for a global week of action that will shine a light on the impact of the fossil fuel industry.

Momentum is building for the Global Divestment Mobilisation which is now only two months away. There are 67 events being organised across 5 continents, with more being added every week.

Despite knowingly destroying our climate, the fossil fuel industry is still being supported through investments and sponsorships, by universities, churches, banks and other institutions in our community. This May, join a global week of action that resonates around the world: neutrality is not an option, it’s time to divest from fossil fuels.

The fossil fuel divestment movement has already achieved so much. We are a global movement, expanding into every corner of the world and helping to undermine support for the fossil fuel industry while accelerating the necessary transition to 100% renewable energy.

With 67 Global Divestment Mobilisation events organised already, there’s a good chance there is already an event near you. But if there isn’t, you can play a vital role in making sure this global moment resonates around the world by organising an action near you.

Whether you are a seasoned divestment activist or a first-time organiser, we will provide you will all the tools you need to make your event a success. You will be joining hundreds of people to shine a bring light on the fossil fuel industry’s impact and the threat climate impacts pose to the things we love.
